Adobo
Philippine Adobo dish made from pork, beef, lamb, seafood, vegetables and poultry. We offer you a recipe Chicken Adobo.
Ingredients:
- 0.5 kg of chicken
- 0.5 kg of pork
- 1 clove garlic
- Half of the bulbs
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1 cup vinegar
- 2 cups water
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 5 bay leaves
- 4 tbsp olive or sunflower oil
- 2.5 tbsp starch
- Salt and pepper – to taste
Instructions:
The recipe Adobo:
First, pork and chicken should be cut into large pieces of about 2×2 cm. Then, garlic and onion finely chopped. In a large skillet heat the 2 tablespoons oil and lightly fry the sliced onions and garlic. Put the pork to the pan with the chicken.
Pour 2 cups of water, add soy sauce, vinegar, paprika and bay leaf. Boil. Cover and leave to prepare for about 30 minutes, until tender meat. At the end of the specified time to get chicken and pork and shift to another pan, preheated and greased.
The roast a few minutes until golden brown brownish. Put back the chicken and pork to the pan with the other ingredients and add Adobo starch, pre-mixed with water to form a dough. All mix well. Add salt and pepper to taste, if desired. Bring to boil and keep ready for another 10 minutes.
