Ingredients:
Milk – 700 ml
Shortbread (rectangular) – 35 pieces
Sugar – 1 cup
Egg yolks – 4 pieces
Wheat flour – 2 tbsp topless
Vanilla sugar – 1 tsp
Recipe for a cake of pastry with custard:
To start, connect to the chilled bowl yolks, sugar, vanilla sugar and flour and mix thoroughly rub into a homogeneous mass. Then, 600 ml of milk, bring to a boil and pour a thin stream into the egg mass, stirring constantly. Stir to avoid lumps. Pour the milk-egg mixture in non-stick skillet or aluminum and place over medium heat. Stirring constantly, bring to a boil. Then reduce the heat and simmer the cream, stirring, until the desired thickness. Cool.
The remaining 100 ml of milk slightly warm. Fully lower each cookie in milk for 3-4 seconds. During this time biscuits soaked with milk, but do not have time to be melted. Three cookies let dry cake decorating. You can put milk-soaked biscuits on a flat dish or tray in two rows of four pieces in a row. Cover the layer of cooled pastry cream. Alternate layers of cookies and cream. Saturate the top layer and sides of cake with a cream. The remaining three biscuits grind into crumbs and sprinkle over cake. Send the finished cake in the refrigerator for about 2-3 hours.
